Loving the City of Walnut Creek

Hi, my name is Brendan Moran. I'm running for Walnut Creek City Council in 2024.

I first came to Walnut Creek 15 years ago. My wife and I lived in a one bedroom condo right in downtown Walnut Creek before the kids came. And that's when I really fell in love with the city. I fell in love with being able to walk downtown, the people, the weather, the art scene, and the future that I could see for myself and my family in Walnut Creek.

I liked it so much, I decided to get involved. I was the host of a TV show called Creek Currents on Walnut Creek TV, where we highlighted all the cool stuff that's going on in the city.

I'm on the Parks and Open Space Commission, where I've been for eight years, including two times as chair. I was co-chair of the Yes on Measure O Committee. That was the ballot measure that's going to help finance Heather Farm Park, bring five new police officers to the city, and fund programs for seniors and youths.

I'm the Co-President of the Community Arts Foundation, which raises scholarship money so people of all ages can take art classes at the Center for Community Arts, and with your support, I will be the next city council member in Walnut Creek.
